Every job, paid or unpaid, is stressful at least part of the time. This session teaches participants about the sources and potential damage of on-the-job stress. Participants examine job stress as it relates to expectations, workload, relationships, change, and balance. They then learn five quick skills for managing job stress.

In this session, participants examine both the stated and unstated expectations that may be causing them stress at work. Participants learn six skills for clarifying roles and expectations on the job.
When you’re buried under a mountain of work, stress can soar. In this session, participants evaluate specifically how their pileup at work is causing them stress. Participants learn four skills for taking charge of their workload.
Working with people can be rewarding—but it can also be a tremendous source of stress. In this session, participants learn possible ways to handle conflict and apply each example to a situation they have experienced. Participants assess the extent and causes of their people pressures at work. They then learn to better handle conflicts and manage people on the job, using six specific skills.
Change is a constant part of life. Nowhere is this more true than on the job. This session helps participants recognize how any type of change, even the positive ones, can cause stress. Participants learn three skills to help them adapt flexibly to change.
Balancing the energy devoted to work, self, and others is a constant challenge that can cause a great deal of stress. This session helps participants evaluate ways in which their lives may be out of balance. Participants develop four skills to use in rebalancing their lives.
